AhlulBayt News Agency: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced that it carried out a large-scale missile and drone strike targeting Israel’s fighter jet fuel production facilities and energy supply lines.
In a televised statement, IRGC spokesperson Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini stated that the operation was part of ongoing retaliatory efforts under "True Promise III," launched in response to recent Israeli aggression. He emphasized that the offensive struck critical energy infrastructure, including fuel production sites for fighter jets, using a substantial number of drones and missiles.
According to Mehr, Naeini warned that Iran’s armed forces would escalate operations even further if Israeli hostilities continue.
Additionally, the IRGC spokesperson revealed that Iran’s aerospace defense systems, operating under the country’s unified air defense command, had successfully intercepted and destroyed multiple Israeli aerial threats. These included three cruise missiles, ten drones, and dozens of hostile mini-drones.
On Saturday night, the IRGC launched another wave of missile and drone strikes, intensifying its retaliatory campaign following the first phase of "True Promise III," which began on Friday.
